Introduction:
Cathodic protection technology is to use a metal or alloy whose potential is more negative than the metal to be protected to be electrically connected to the protected metal, and rely on the current generated by the continuous corrosion and dissolution of the metal with a negative potential to protect others.
Magnesium strips are suitable for cathodic protection of high resistivity soils, fresh water and special parts with narrow spaces. Such as long-distance pipelines in soil or fresh water, inner walls of buried pipeline casings, large storage tanks and pipeline networks, and underground cables.
