Environmental Friendly Prepackaged Magnesium Anode Improve Project Construction Efficiency
Introduction:
The sacrificial magnesium alloy anode can be provided to our clients after assembling. The bare anode is firstly connected with an electric cable with the connecting point being sealed using epoxy resin. Then the assembled products, together with special fillings, are encapsulated in cotton bags.
Based on the principle of environmental protection, our products can be easily recycled or degraded without
releasing any toxic substances.
The common insulation materials include PVC/PVC, XLPE/PVC, and HMWPE.
The specifications of the electric cable are as the following:6 mm2,10 mm2 and 16 mm2.
The fillings are produced by mixing 75%gypsum powder,20%bentonite, and 5%Na2504.
The assembled magnesium alloy anode can satisfy the following specification:
electric resistance:<0.001
Connection strength: better than 5 times the weight of the assembled anodes.
Assembly configuration:
1. One sacrificial anode of any type.
2. One cable wire: welded on the sacrificial anode according to the length and specification required by the customer, and sealed with epoxy resin and dibutyl ester with glass wire or polyvinyl chloride heat shrinkable sleeve according to the proportion.
3. A pack of special fillers.
4. A set of aluminothermic flux.
5. One anode cloth bag.

Features:
Magnesium alloy is an ideal sacrificial anode material because of its negative anode potential, large electricity generation per unit mass and long service life. As an ideal sacrificial anode material, magnesium alloy also has the following characteristics
(1) Small specific gravity and negative potential
(2) High driving voltage for iron and low current efficiency
(3) Especially suitable for high resistivity medium. (For resistivity greater than 100Ω·m, it is recommended to use strip magnesium anode)
Application:
Magnesium alloy sacrificial anode is suitable for anti-corrosion protection of oil, gas, water supply and drainage pipelines, underground cables, chemical industry, communications, harbors, ships, reservoir gates and other projects in soil and freshwater media.
